Harold Wood Athletic Reserve team compete the Essex Olympian League.
The side have enjoyed unparalleled success since the turn of the century with regular honours won year after year. 2008/09 saw the side win the League Title again for the 3rd successive season.
Previously managed by Lee Hammond,Lee's brother Gary & Brian Rafis the team have a new management set up and will look to build on the successful mentality of previous Reserve sides.
In the season 2012/13 Joint Managers - Kevin Gibson & Mark Atkinson guided the team to the Reserve Division 1 title after going on a 16 game unbeaten run and becoming champions on the last day of the season at Debden Sports winning 1-0.
The 2014/15 season see's a new management partnership with the evergreen Kevin Gibson now joined by new assistant and ex player Matty Grainger while Mark Atkinson joined the First team Set up.
After finishing a creditable 4th, both Gibbo & Mattie have both decided to stand down sadly.
The new Joint management team for 2015/16 were Joe Tungate & Gary Hammond and Matty Grainger has decided to carry on as an assistant.
The management team for 2016/17 remained Gary & Joe with Scott Larkin assisting.
Taking over from Gary Hammond for the 2017/18 is 'A' team manager Gary Willis who will be assisted by Dave Lowry & Wood veteran Lee Wettner.
The 2017/18 the Reserves finish 3rd in the EOFL Division 3 which was good enough to get them promoted to Division 2.
The same management team continued for the 2018/19
Unfortunately the 2019/20 season, was cut short due to Covid 19 pandemic and was Null & Void
It looks like the 3 Amigos' will make it 4 season's in charge as they continue into the 2020/21 season.

As Steve Hubbard & Steve Downes step up from Wood 'A' to take over the Reserves ahead of the new season.
The 2022/23 season see's the two Steve's continuing in charge of the stiffs for the second season...when they finished a creditable 4th in the table but due to league restructuring the top 5 were promoted to Division 1 for the 2023/24 season.
Ahead of the 2024/25 season Steve Hubbard's long time partner in crime Steve Downes decided to step away from his coaching roll for personal reasons.
Stepping in to replace Downsey is the previously retired free scoring Wood Vets Res's player Neil Stear.
