Harold Wood Athletic

Its been many a year since we have had a Sunday side associated with the Wood, but this year we were approached by long term friends and Associate Club members Terry and Charlie Roberts regarding them representing the Club for the new 2021/22 season.
After many a meeting and discussions over a pint or two and with many palms crossed with silver, the Committee welcomed them aboard and gave them the all clear to start planning for the season ahead.
With Charlie taking charge on the playing side, which is a bit a off a departure for him as he is usually the man in the middle and Terry the brains of the outfit doing the admin for the team and also being Charlie's assistant.
The players being made up from Harold Wood and surrounding areas with some Saturday players, Cougars Players coming through and long time school friends.

They will be competing in The Brentwood Sunday League, Division 2 for the up coming season.

In their first season together the lads achieved the Runners up spot in both the Division 2 & Division 2 Cup which now
see's them promoted to Division 1 for the forthcoming 2022/23 season.

The 23/24 season saw them still in Division 1 where they finished 3rd in the table & lifted the Division 1 Cup beating Rainham Rovers 4-1 in the final.

After their 3rd place finish they won Promotion to the Senior Division for the 24/25 season.
